CCHRI Talk series: Historical Pandemics

Wednesday, May 6, 2020

During COVID-19 and the disrupted schedules most of us have experienced, the CCHRI has put together a talk series in collaboration with Princeton University's Medieval Studies with the support of the Humanities Council. The talk series covers historical pandemics - from history to the Black Death and the reception of these historical pandemics in the 21st century.

The presenting team consisted of John Haldon (Princeton), Abigail Agresta (George Washington University), Merle Eisenberg (National Socioenvironmental Synthesis Center), Sabine Huebner (University of Basel), Lee Mordechai (Hebrew University, Jerusalem), Tim Newfield (Georgetown University), Phil Slavin (University of Stirling).
